Lindsey Gerlach, PLA

Field and Fabric Landscape Design (FFLD) is located in Oakland, CA and is available for consulting & freelancing in and beyond the bay area.

The studio was started in 2022 after Lindsey's venture from Lutsko Associates. She has more than a decade of experience in landscape architecture and has worked on numerous projects of all scales.

Her experience is derived from living all over the country; absorbing knowledge of diverse landscapes, ecologies and plant palettes.

Experiences have included but not limited to:

  • Agronomic knowledge base from New England farm
  • Designing public parks and Denver public schoolyards in Colorado
  • Restructuring New Orlean's Lower Ninth Ward after Hurricane Katrina - thru the use of site minded infrastructures & bioretention methods
  • Current life in bay area for the last 10+ years, understanding the complex sites that make up this unique landscape
  • Ongoing...always fascinated by the industry / collaborative design work / new practices & mindsets within the industry / dynamic landscapes
